Lakewood Village’s central location in Silicon Valley makes it an ideal place to live if you like an easy commute. The neighborhood is mere blocks away from two major freeways (101 and 237) and is a few miles away by freeway or expressway from three other major freeways (880, 280, and 85). It also has easy access to public transit, with regular bus service traversing the neighborhood. Express buses, light rail, and commuter train stops are less than a mile away.

 

Many young families live in Lakewood Village and are supported by two neighborhood elementary schools. Young and old alike enjoy the two neighborhood parks, a greenbelt, and a nearby regional park, which provide ample community open space for recreation, exercise, and events.

 

Lakewood Village has a shopping plaza and is close to other shopping areas, and there are several regional entertainment and recreational venues nearby.
