I had a similar problem; had to take Zoomer for repair.
Luckily was still in warrenty. Trouble was it was going to
take 3-4 months!!! I talked to the Radio Shack technician
who said he say several Zoomers with this problem; somehow
the screen touchpad begins to separate form the screen. He
said they are DIFFICULT to repair and usually leads to something
else breaking (at least he was honest!). That said and the
3 month screen backorder (that ridiculous!), I pushed hard to
get a new machine.
