Have you done anything to validate the data on the former 256k card? If
it really can hold 1 meg now that means there's 1 meg of flash memory on
board. Why would they have sold it as 256k?
Tandy used to sell a 64k Color computer as 32k, but that was because the
other 32k couldn't be accessed from Basic so they figured nobody would
ever be able to use it. (Of course everyone is smarter than Tandy and
used it). But that's kind of a rare thing.
Anyway, if you do check out the contents, like doing a file compare after
moving it back to Dos or something, and it works, I'd love to know about
it. I have a number of 128k cards.
