Zoomer includes the ROMDOS product (from I forget who) which basically gives
it a bootable DOS in ROM. This provides an underlying layer for GEOS to run
on, as on desktops, and facilitates DOS filesystem compatibility. With some
of the emerging Energy-Star _desktop_ systems offering PCMCIA slots, this
will definitely facilitate data transfer between the two systems. Who cares
about a cable - just "sneaker-net" it over on a PCMCIA card :)

(Does anyone know whether there are actual PCMCIA units which can be mounted
in, say, a 3.5"x1"H bay on an existing PC?)
