I almost baught a Zoomer when it was available, but luckily I waited
until the "techno-rush" was over and started thinking more clearly about
how I would use a PDA.

What can a Zoomer really get me? If I use it for note taking, I'd be
better off trying to touch-type on a Casio Boss, as far as speed and
handwriting recognition goes.

If I want a calenadr, again I could buy a Boss or a dozen other devices.
 They offer PC connectivity.

If I wan't something to play games on, I can get a gameboy for $50 with
stereo sound.

If I really want a fast electronic device to take notes on, I would want
something with a big screen. Maybe the new Sharp Zoomer is what I'll
want, especially if it has enough memory for me to store my notes in
graphics format (bag the handwriting recognition software).

Does anyone really think they get their money's worth with the current Zoomer?
