I don't think Sharp is abandoning the Newton, but is in addition coming
out with the PT9000 which is a GEOS based PDA. It is of a different class
than the Newton or Zoomer. It will have substantially more of GEOS 2.0 on
it, has a screen about the size of an etch-a-sketch, and as I understand
it has some sort of keyboard attached to it, in addition to the pop-up.
It's my present PDA of choice, and I think will attract a lot of people
more comfortable in the PC world.
