zoomer-request wasn't supposed to have worked.  You subscribed
to a listserv address, and you can unsubscribe similarly.
Send a message to listserv@grot.starconn.com with this command
in the message body:

unsubscribe zoomer-list-1993

You'll get a brief message acknowledging that you've been removed
from the list, usually within a couple of hours.
