Is this with external (AC) power or just battery? For that matter,
how fresh were the batteries? Could it be that the
new clock speed uses too much juice to provide enough power for writing
to flash ram? There has to be *some* reason Casio didn't ship it with
a 16 MHz clock in the first place...
