Well, at last I will GIVE something to this group.
After trying almost very possible kind of batteries, I think I found the best
rechargeable.
I tries the following batteries and here are the results with Battery watcher:
Regular Alkaline- 4 hours and 20 minutes per set (Apr. $1)
Lithium batteries- 12 hours per set (App. $4)
Regular Ni-Cad Rechargeable- (650 mA)- 1 hour per set ($4 for set of 2)
Radio shack High Capacity Ni-cad- (850 mA)- 1 hour and 40 minutes ($6 for set
of 2)
BASF Ni - Ham batteries (1200 mA)- 1 hour and 30 minutes
(I bought these at Macro - Belgium and paid $12 for the pair. It is a total
rip-off. They loose their charge faster then regular Ni-Cad's and they are
expansive!)

And the best of all are the :
Panasonic Ni-cad- 1100 mA-- 2 hours and 20 minutes. I bought them at Cosco,
Atlanta, and paid for 4 batteries and charger that had Over charge protection
circuit - $12. The best bargain of all.
I am a heavy user of the OGO and I have 2 MB SRAM installed. I use the serial
cable quiet often and I guess this is the reason for the short cycles between
charges.

I hope it helps people who are looking for batteries options.
On word about HP: I sent my unit for service a week before the warranty
expired. They REPLACES the screen and sent me a new screen. Try to get such
service from Sharp, Cassio or the rest of the Far east manufactures.
Only fir this the deserve some Brownie points.
Happy new year,
Roy Wagner
