Well, I called up X*Press technical support. They were very nice, and told me
the frequency used in my area, and although I couldn't do the modification
myself, they would be glad to ship me out a new box that was tuned for the
proper frequency. I would then send my current box back when I got the new one.
Pretty good customer service, I'd say.
Something that kind of surprised me was that they still had records on this box
that my father purchased about 5 years ago. We had a little trouble until I
told him that the purchase would have been under my father's name, not mine.
