Frequencies for X*Press? Changing a converter to a different freq?

I recall at one point that someone had moved and discovered that his
converter no longer worked. He called up X*Press, found out that there
were three standard frequencies, found out the one that was used in his
area and described how he modified his box to the new frequency. Of
course, now that I've finally got cable in my new home, I discover that
my X*Press box doesn't work, and I've lost the message about fixing
this problem.
Is whoever it was still out there, or is the message in the archives?
Anyone have any suggestions? It's frustrating to have cable and dmx
but no x*press.
