Brian, 12/16/93

I noted your mention of those who (you thought) were working on
software related to the Xpress datastream. In another few weeks I ought to
have a reasonable version of the packet processor with a merge of the diffs
that I collected from the archive.

I have been primarily working on the speed of the processing since I think that
is related to the large number of error messages I get:

T_EUNIT: unmatched (0)
T_EFRAG: unmatched (0)
T_EFRAG: unmatched (1)

Each of these messages means that an article has been flushed because I
didn't get around to reading the datastream before the serial driver hit
the high water mark.

Anyway, I need a little help or suggestions on how to package the source
code for distribution to whoever wants to get it.

Regards,
Richard

PS.

I am using this software to collect closing stock quotes and volumes for
overnight technical analysis. If anything shows up interesting, the muncher
will send me Email to be read in the morning.
