The best way to distribute software on the list is to send it to me
somehow (see below), I'll put it in the xpress-list archives, and
either then you or I can announce its existence on the list.

For "packaging", I guess a tar file is as good as anything. I'll end
up turning it into a multipart shar archive so that it can be mailed to
people from the archive server.

You can send it to me in a couple of ways:

(1) mail it to brian@grot.starconn.com in one of the usual formats, like
uuencoded and split or multipart shar or whatever.

(2) put it somewhere where I can get it with ftp (sorry, I can't do ftp
at home and can't receive incoming ftp at work for this purpose,
but I can retrieve stuff with ftp at work and then uucp it home)
