Interestingly at variation is my letter:

"Please find enclosed a mailing envelope, postage paid, to be used
to return the PC-17-86 Ultralite Battery(s) you recently received
that will not hold their charge.
We should be receiving our replacement product within the month of
August and would like to begin accumulating the batteries that need
to be replaced. Since there are environmental laws governing the
disposal of batteries, we have made arrangements with a disposal
company to handle this process and need your cooperation in
returning your battery(s) to my attention.
