Alas, 8 pins is only good for the AC power adaptor cable. The really
scarce part is a 9 pin mini-DIN for the RS232 port.

I'd bet that this is Halted Specialties in Santa Clara CA. I've rummaged
through their surplus stock looking for those elusive 9-pin connectors...
