I'm not sure I completely understand, but I did get it to work
correctly. Has something to do with the relationship between "make
label" and the "shared text" checkbox on each labels properties. The
reason is unclear, but as long as I have the "shared text" checkbox
selected on each of he labels when I "make labels" they will stay.
I suppose I have to do something similar to the graphics backgrounds I
am trying to create to get them to stay put?
