Hi Anna,
we have had the same problem and we solved it by using the XCMDs of a
Hypercard stack called "Hypercard RTF 1.3". We wrote a HC-stack that
produce a stack with every card containing one piece of text. This text
stacks are imported to MC.
The stack "Hypercard RTF 1.3" includes some XCMDs for importing and
exporting RTF to fields or containers. It is available on several
ftp-servers. It may be worth a look at, even if you don't have a Mac
available, because it comes with the c-code of the XCMDs. I don't know if
this code will also run together with MC because it uses the Mac font
numbers.
