I purchased the modem cable for my Zoomer, because it is short (about 18"),
and it works great with both modems and printers. The short cable is nice
because I can carry it with the Zoomer without a lot of bulk. When using it
with a modem, it is a direct attachment, and when used with a printer, I use
a standard serial printer cable, with a male DB25 on one end and a female
DB25 on the other, between the Zoomer's modem cable and the printer. This is
the same cable you would use to connect the printer to a PC that has a 25 pin
serial port.
