You need to get ahold of the Project Gutenburg archives. There are
lots of public domain texts available (check your local gopher or www
server). All are in plain ascii. You'll need something to read them
with... TextReader is good, and can handle any size text file, unlike
the various text editors. You can get the shareware version on the
Zoomer home page.
And yes, you CAN get some of them from AOL, too...
