Thin card problem

I recently bought a Newton 1meg PCMCIA card for my zoomer. When I first
got it my z didn't recognize it. I had a friend who had a Newton format
the card. I then inserted the card and my z asked if I would like to
format the card. It all worked fine. Well, to make a short story long, I
had to remove the battery from the card to reset it. Now my zoomer won't
recognize it anymore. I just get an error message that says something
like 'the card you just inserted is not recognized'. I can't remember
EXACTLY what the message was but the gist of it is there. I am not able
to format the card in any way. Is there any way to force the zoomer to
format it? I have no other thin card devices to foramt this card, and I
would like to be able to format it with my zoomer in the future if
necessary. Any ideas?
