I'm afraid that you *might* be chasing a wild goose. As far as I
know, the sound player being discussed in only available in the
CIS forum restricted to SDK owners. Just another good reason
to shell-out the $99 for the SDK, I guess.

I think the author's name is David Goodman and he has expressly
stated that the software (which is shareware) shall only be
available from him personally or from the CIS forum. So don't
even think about asking me for a copy. This is the same guy who
wrote the clock and "oracle" which are more widely available.

I've only used the sound player a coupld of times, and one of those
times it crashed. My guess is that DKG gave up on developing Geos
apps and isn't interested in supporting his first, less than perfect,
efforts.

I haven't had the time or the disk space to play with the Geos SDK
much, but it includes source code for several sample applications,
one of which is a WAV player. Perhaps somebody from Geoworks
could build and distribute some of the samples -- unsupported of
course.
