Corrupted Geos.ini

I'd been running in the Expert mode for several weeks, but I wanted to run
Zdriver.bat again to restore the immediate recognition for Graffiti which had
gotten lost. When I did everything worked fine until I tried to set any of
the preference settings, either from the Launcher or from the
Utilities-Preference menu. As soon as I set a user name, or time/date
preference I get an error that tells me the Geos.ini file is corrupt and I
must press the right button to reboot. Also the launcher cannot be closed now
although it can be iconized (before I could just close it). Any ideas what
lines in Geos.ini or Net.ini could be upsetting the OS? Thanks, Rick
