Internal storage not initialized

A week ago, my Zoomer gave me an error message that reads:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------
Internal storage not initialized -
initialize the internal storage?

Press button A for YES, B for NO

All documents stored internally will be lost if you answer YES.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I thought it may have been that I ran out of storage space and it screwed
things up. So I pressed B=NO and it didn't do anything. A soft reset only
gave me the same message. So I did a hard reset and restored from a backup
and things were OK.

Several times since then, I would turn the unit on and it would start up just
as if I did a soft reset and I even once remember a message that said
something similiar to "Power failure has occurred" but it would come back up
with only the date having to be set. Other times, I would get the "Internal
storage" message, I would press B=NO and it would be fine again.

But tonight, I am stuck on the "Internal storage" message and it won't
respond to any press of A=YES or B=NO. I am about to do a hard boot again
but wanted to see if there is another way. It seems that it would be a
hardware problem that would require repair but I am not sure.

Any suggestions?
