Recently, David Twede asked about Graffiti for the Zoomer:
>>Does it completely replace the old HWR engine?<<

Graffiti installs on B[INTERNAL]\GEOWORKS\SYSTEM as a library. The
O/S sees this library before looking at the one in ROM. Nothing can
replace/rewrite the contents of the ROM.

All added applications must reside in either the B[INTERNAL] or
PCMCIA memory. Graffiti must be installed internally, since it runs
as a library.

>>>...can I write text anywhere in apps where I used to with the
standard configuration, OR does graffiti only have a small "box"
where I write, like in the demo?<<<

Graffiti on the Zoomer supports writing in the fields of
applications as well as writing within the Writing Area.

>>>Can I use the old HWR engine, but set graffiti up to become one of
the "keyboards" that pop-up from the hard-icon? <<<

You must un-install Graffiti in order to use the old HWR on the
Zoomer. This is not necessarily so on other platforms.
