PalmConnect

Hi,

I have a few questions for those of you that have used palmconnect.

In the fax I got from Palm about it, it says that you can use the "cable
to transfer Quicken information from your zoomer to your PC version of
quicken." Yet, it doesn't mention whether it has the export/import
utility to have quicken read the zoomer's pocket-quicken format, or
vice-versa. Also, with my new zoomer there was a coupon from inuit that
says I can spend $19.95 to get some kind of an item to help me transfer
my pocket quicken files to my PC-Windows quicken. I called Intuit, and
they say that the $19.95 item is just a cable.

1) So I ask, What *SOFTWARE* do I need to import/export quicken files
between my PC version and the zoomer-pocket version?

Also, in the Fax from Palm. It says that "palmconnect also gives you
delayed handwriting recognition. Which means you can keep your notes in
'ink' or interpret them into text later."

2) So, does this mean that NOTBOOK files written in ink, can be
"translated" to ASCII or text? Can I do this on the zoomer or just the
PC-running palmconnect? (Note, the zoomer already can delay recognition for
datebook, and phonebook items, but not notebook items.)

3) lastly, is palmconnect another copy of GEOS for the PC, that includes
the GEOS OS and the zoomer apps?

Thanks much in advance.
