(1) From the PC side, PalmConnect doesn't see the files on my Zoomer's flash
card, even though they are hooked into the Document directory in main
memory. I suppose this is purposeful on the part of Palm (?). However,
PalmConnect also doesn't see the flash card as a seperate device either,
and so there seems to be no way to copy files from the flash card to the
PC by intiating the trasfer from the PC side.
(2) From the Zoomer side, when I try to copy files from the flash card to
the PC drive, it indicates that it's started a transfer but basically
hangs the Zoomer. If I try to "Stop" the transfer, it says "Stopping
after copying..." and continues to hang. All I've been able to do at
that point is reboot the Zoomer.
What all of this has meant is that I can't backup my flash card unless I copy
files to main memory and then transfer them from there. Not exactly convenient!
So I have two questions:
(1) Does anyone have a workaround for this?
(2) What are the options for PCCOM? I wouldn't mind using that utility instead
if it would copy files and subdirectories recursively from a starting
location, but I don't know if PCCOM has such an option.
Thanks,
