I'm not *certain*, but I think if you cut open a Millenium ('D' cell,
at least) you'll find a SMALLER cell inside; most of the battery is
just the case. They do this to cut costs, but, it also cuts battery
life. (I remember reading this in that Consumer Reports article I
read on batteries. And I think I remember them saying there was one
vendor -- Radio Shack? -- that used full-sized nicads. A better buy).

Just my "thoughts" . . .
