  Generally, I agree.  However, the notion that we didn't "pay" for the
software built into the Zoomer is weird.  I know nothing about what
percentage Palm Connect makes from each Zoomer sale, but as a Zoomer user I
can say that one of the main reasons I bought a Zoomer in the first place was
due to the built-in software.  In my mind, at least, I was paying as much for
the software as for the hardware.
  I'm not defending the right of anyone to violate a software licensing
agreement (I don't own PC GEOS, so I haven't tried anything being discussed).
 I just think that rebuking the few brave souls willing to experiment with
their possessions is adding insult to injury in view of the fact that both
the Zoomer and Palm Connect are both (IMHO) overpriced.
