Steve,

there are a couple of great sources for modems inexpensively. The first is
Midwest Micro at 1-800-423-8215 or 513-368-2309 the rep I talk to is Shannon
on x-527. They have a very nice pocket modem for around $160-$170 and it is
very pocketable and light. 9Volt or AC and 14.4 v.32bis data and fax it is
their infotel modem.

The other source is CDW (Computer Discount Warehouse at 800-775-4239 or
708-291-7575 the rep I talked to was Rob x-278 also data and fax with 14.4
v.32bis and the price is $179. It is a U.S. Robotics Worldport pocket modem
9Volt and AC.

BTW you may want to try out America Online on your Mac as we have a complete
Zoomer forum with message boards that cannot be reached yet via the Zoomer on
AOL. If you need Mac software drop me a note with your name and address and
let me know you want Mac software and I will mail it.
