I'm afraid you've hit the nail on the head! :)
Seriously, though, I am doing this so I can bring an existing Forth into
Geos instead of having to build a completely new one. By the way, the
Forth hacker will not be as dangerous as you had thought. We like to dig
into the interesting parts of the system-- and what's more interesting
than multi-platform compatibility and object orientation? Direct screen
access is nothing compared to that! Hey, if I want to mess with
*hardware*, I'll stay in DOS.
