While fooling with AOL, I discovered the following bugs:
* Consistent KR-09 errors while creating, spooling, and deleting
offline email.
* If you open a file with the little text editor tool, you can resize
the window smaller by dragging a window edge. If you try to make it
bigger, the window frame gets bigger, but the actual scrolling text
window stays at the small size. Thus, once a window is made small,
you can never make it bigger. Stupid!
* You can't type a TAB character in the AOL text editing window.
Tapping the tab key on the keyboard does nothing. Even worse,
if you open an existing file with tabs in it (like GEOS.INI)
you cannot copy and paste the tab! You can select it, and do a
copy or cut, but attempts to paste silently fail. Why the big
problem with tabs?
I definitely think that Casio is going to owe us a ROM upgrade to get a
newer version of the AOL software!
