I have notices a couple of things about my zoomer (Tandy version):
1- I took a 1MB PCMCIA card that I have in a ZEOS PPC (a DOS palmtop)
and fearlessly plugged into the zoomer... Surprise, not only is
is it recognized, but the files on it are visible via the file
manager just fine. When I tried to open a .exe file, it said that
it was not GEOS compatible.
2- I also noticed that the serial cable from my ZEOS fits the zoomer, I
have not tried connecting it to anything however. If it does work
(which I will report on in my next mail), that means one can buy a
cable from ZEOS for $12 (+$7 shipping). A 60% savings off the
ridiculous Casio/Tandy price.
Stay tuned.
