Greetings all,

I have been on this mailing list, and reading the geos newsgroups for
a few weeks now. I am still a little foggy about some core questions.
If the questions are too simlistic, please e-mail me a reply instead
of wasting everybody else's time.

I have a simple application in mind for the zoomer. So I went to Radio Hack
and put in an order for one. It is not here yet, but all the reviews I have
read are encouraging me.

So after reading through all the info, here is what I have learned:

1-	I need an IBM PC to do the development on. I have a 386 with
the usual stuff and a CDROM. I even have a copy of FrameMaker
so I can read whatever docs...
2-	I need the GEOS SDK "stuff", and it is $XX... I am a bit unsure
as to where I order it from.
3-	I need a C compiler. I have MSC, but I am willing to get another
as long as the cost is not too high.

What I am grappling with is more of the "how". Are there any application
builders? Any Visual-Basic alikes? Databases? Form builders? Does one
write raw C code for EVEYTHING... are there any libraries?

Any info greatly appreciated.
Sani.
