Thanks for the tip on the new Radio Shack catalog, John.  I wandered over to
the Palo Alto store and picked up a copy.  The $3.00 they charge (!) was
mitigated by the 10%-off coupon.  With 10% off, it' cheaper than Service
Merchandise's catalog price for the Casio model.

The catalog lists the following items without mention of price or availability,
which partially answers some of my previous questions:

- 256K SRAM PCMCIA card
- PCMCIA flash disk, up to 20MB
- PCMCIA wireless e-mail pager (I think this is Motorola's, for EMBARC)
- portable modems
- serial cable
- PC infrared interface
- PC connection software
- leather carry case
- AC adapter
- replacement and deluxe stylii

They are taking orders for "end of October" delivery.  They were fairly
confident of the date, saying that it might be early or it might be
"a couple of days" late.  They started taking orders about a week ago.
Three other people had placed orders already, paid in full.  They
don't seem to have a policy on how much of a deposit is required; they
suggested $200, and I offered $50.  They took it, and so I've got one
on order now!
