Palm Computing has agreements with America Online and a few other 
software developers wherein we have shared proprietatry information 
necessary to access the Address Book application on the Zoomer.  
That access is not yet generally available.  

However, it has been our intention to create an open environment to 
facilitate the broader development of software for the Zoomer and other 
PDA's to come, and at the Geoworks Developers Conference this Fall 
we did a survey of what developers thought they needed in an API.  We 
are working on this API now, but it will still be some time before it's 
ready for release.

If you are a software developer and need to get access to any of the 
Palm apps (Address Book, Date Book, Note Book) on the Zoomer, 
please send a message to:  SUPPORT@PALM.COM with some 
specifics of what you're doing and how to contact you further.
