Dave Goodman is also active in the HP-95LX palmtop community. He
specifically prohibits the distribution of any of his software or other
files on Usenet or the Internet. He may or may not have changed his
policy.

Here's a Comp.sys.palmtops article on the subject:

In article <C6ID5t.KI5@cup.hp.com> runyan@cup.hp.com (Mark Runyan) writes:

>From a previous Comp.sys.palmtops posting this is what Dave Goodman
says. This is going into the HP-95LX FAQ list. To date no one has
volunteered to collect the money from the four people (including me)
who have said they'd pay $10.

The problem with putting my software on the Internet is that the
registration rate is very low, and it costs me money to answer e-mail from
Internet users (such as this one). I'll tell you what: get 100 people to
register the software in advance, $10 per registration, and send a check for
100 registrations to Dave Goodman, 448 Ignacio Bl #220-INTERNET, Novato, CA
94949. If you do that, I'll let you upload the software. I'm working on a
deal with ACE Technologies of San Jose, CA to have them distribute my
software, and the disk will probably sell for $35. Please post a message to
Internet advising people that I'm just a poor slob who likes to write
software and that I find it costly to reply to Internet mail. Thanks.

Dave
