Subject: about those "subscribe" messages...
Status: OR
Sorry about the recent spate of "subscribe" messages which have been posted
to zoomer-list-1993. Someone somewhere must have posted something which instructed
people to send subscription requests to zoomer-list-1993@grot.starconn.com instead
of to listserv@grot.starconn.com. The listserv program should weed them out,
but it doesn't. I'll see if I can make the appropriate modifications to it
as soon as I get a chance.

By the way, if anyone knows where those faulty instructions might have been
posted (AOL maybe?), feel free to post a correction. The correct instructions,
suitable for cut-and-paste :), are:

Zoomer-list subscription requests should be emailed to
listserv@grot.starconn.com with the following message body:

  subscribe zoomer-list-1993 yourfirstname yourlastname
  quit

"yourfirstname yourlastname" should be replaced with your
actual name, and "quit" should appear on a separate line.

The good news is that zoomer-list-1993 interest is continuing to grow!
Happy zooming,
