Not surprisingly, the PT9000 will come with America Online software.
It's interesting that they say "starting this fall". Is the PT9000
due out that soon?

Sharp Electronics to Pre-Install America Online on New Personal
Information Assistant
VIENNA, Va., Sept. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- America Online, Inc.
(NASDAQ-NMS: AMER), announced plans to expand its support of next
generation cosumer devices through an alliance with Sharp Electronics.
The company announced that the palmtop edition of America Online will be
pre-installed into Sharp's new PT-9000 Personal Information Assistant
starting this fall.
This marks the third agreement between America Online and a leading
manufacturer of next-generation electronic devices. In January, America
Online became the first online service to embrace palmtop computers when
it announced a bundling agreement with Tandy and Casio's Zoomer PDA.
Previously the company announced an agreement with Apple to use America
Online's technology for Apple's future online services, including those
offered on the Apple Newton.

Gary Schwartz, vice president, Sharp PC and Color Imaging Systems,
Wizard and Personal Home Office Electronics Division. "The PT-9000 is
designed to provide consumers with ready access to information and

informed."
