Well, I finally got the SDK installed and running, and I've hit a
few problems. Can anyone offer some advice?

     *	When I try to run pcs, it complains about a missing pattern file.
I have ROOT_DIR set, pointing to C:\PCGEOS, and PCS.PAT is in
	C:\PCGEOS\INCLUDE. C:\PCGEOS\INCLUDE\SEND is missing. I tried
creating SEND as a copy of PCS.PAT, with no luck. I can use
pcsend to send stuff over the wire, but this is a major pain.
What can I do to make pcs work?

     *	The tutorial talks about the MCHRT application, but the source
is not included in the SDK. It's easy to create it, but a bit
	confusing for us newcomers.

     *	What is the strategy for using swat under Windows? I'm not
much a Windows user, so help me here. When I click the Swat
icon to start swat, my mouse locks up, even after I exit swat.
Should I run swat in a separate DOS shell? How should I organize
my windows to compile, edit, and debug? How do I tell the swat
window where my application is located? The tutorial is written
by someone who is already an expert, and a lot of this stuff is
	simply not explained.

     *	Windows complains because the GEOSSDK.GRP file is read-only. I
fixed this, but someone at Geoworks should take note.
