Morning Zoomers

The CLOCK app that's already been written for the Zoomer works fine, and
as it's a floating app, therefore it can be moved out of the way.  I'm
trying to get the author to allow me to post his first three shareware
apps here:

CLOCK:  a floating clock app with date.
SOUNDER: plays any 8-bit mono wav file, VERY nice.
DIALLER: DTMF phone dialler with recall, works first time, everytime!

Other apps that work fine on the Zoomer

MAZE RUNNER: A real well thought out maze game. And it can easily be
customised for the Zoomers screen

TETRIS: Pretty obvious really, but not strictly allowed on the Zoomer
due to Nintendo's World rights to it on h/held platforms.  Shame the
GEOS version doesn't make use of the Zoomers games paddle to control the
blocks.

TOWERS OF HANOI: What it lacks in visual appeal, it makes up for in
cunning.  My favourite.

If you need to edit files in the Zoomer, that's easy as AOL has an editor
built in. Tap to start AOL, select FILE then OPEN and simply edit away.

I've installed a dual channel PCMCIA reader/writer in my PC, and
although I can move apps back and forth with PalmConnect, it's even
quicker with a card slot in the PC.  Out of interest, the software
drivers with the reader/writer love Zoomer files and read/write them
without a hitch.  But try the same thing on a Newton and it's error
reading drive D:

The Newton MessagePad has a genuine PCMCIA Jeida-4 slot....NOT!
