Chuck Musciano,
There are fifteen of us here at Casio Tech Support awaiting your call. We
work from 9:00am to 5:00pm Eastern Time. Sorry we missed your call but those
are the hours we work. We answer the phone live and we are ready to help.
We have never heard of anyone doing a soft reset and losing data. That should
not happen. (Just don't tap the screen during the reset process.)
If you were doing the soft reset to remove the state files you can do that in
File Manager by going into Privdata then State then dragging the unwanted
state file to the garbage.
The soft reset process does take some time and the screen is blank. Then
after 10 or 15 seconds the Congratulations screen comes up. You can also try
going into preferences and digitizer and recalibrate the pen.
Give us a time and we will gladly go over some things together.
