      I do wait, and the SPARK PLUG program does start up and do its thing.
a:\loader is invoked, GEOS comes up, the "tap an icon" screen is displayed,
and the Zoomer is incommunicado.

     My only hope right now is that I can do a file link from my PC to the
Zoomer without having to first start the File Manager on the Zoomer.  Is
this possible?  If so, I'll dump my old data before doing a hard reset.

     I expect my connection kit from Palm tomorrow.  Palm says they shipped
on Nov 12, and tomorrow is the end of the 7-10 days ship time they promised.

     I have yet to have a safe soft reset.  This desperately needs to be
fixed.  Idea for a shareware app: safe soft reset.
