Well, it finally happened. Four weeks to the day after getting my
Zoomer, I finally got a popup that said "Main batteries are getting low".
This was on Friday evening, and my replacements were on my desk at work.

No problem, though. Except for periodically complaining about the
low batteries, the Zoomer continued to run all weekend. I replaced the
batteries when I got into work today.

I figure I got about 70 hours out of the first set, which came with
the Zoomer. I just put in fresh Duracells, so we'll see how long they
last.

I never tried any power saving stuff during those four weeks. I had
the volume turned up to max, and the screen blanker kicked in after five
minutes.
