Just taking a stab in the dark here, but since I know the HP 48 series can
act as a remote control with their serial IR, and that I think I recall
seeing an IR-to-RS232 converter over the net a while back for those machines,
I would think that in theory at least using the Zoomer's I/R port would be
similarly possible.

Now programming the hardware to do it is another matter.....
