Subject: Zip and Zing info and availability?

Well, now that I have a copy of PalmConnect on order, I'm sure my next
problem will be one of file storage space :-(.

The Casio Zoomer comes with a little brochure for the "Zip and Zing"
PCMCIA memory card (1MB for $220, 2MB for $320). Presumably it's a
flash disk. However, I've heard talk about it having some ability
to speed up Zoomer operation by keeping more applications "activated".
I called the Geoworks sales 800 number, and they said that the product
was delayed until "early next year" and that no literature was available.

I'd like to know more about this card. Is it really special, or is any
old SunDisk-compatible flash disk just as good? If it is special, then
is it still useable outside of the Zoomer environment? And what's with
this "early next year" stuff?

Does anyone (e.g. John) know?
