I don't think anyone has taken the time to do anything like this for the
Zoomer.
I've read a little where the IZL 2 programming kit has the ability to access
the IR port. Also someone was saying on one of the handheld groups that they
had used a universal remote booster like ones at Best Buys to boost their
HP200LX's IR output. Did anyone else see that one?
Also on one of the GEOS programming pages someone made references to the
Zoomer's IR port as different com ports, i.e. refer to it as com 2 it has a
1 foot range with send/receive capability, refer to it as com 3 it has a
12 foot send range/no receive. Have you seen this reference? I'm at work
right now and all of my GEOS pages are marked at home so if you want me to
look up the info and post it I can when I get home.
