You should be able to. I installed a PCMCIA slot on one of my workstations
and keep all
of my data on the card. It takes me literally only seconds to backup the
entire card and I also have
direct access to all of the files on it. This of course makes hotsynching
more cumbersome but IMHO
there isn't a complete enough 2-way link for decent PIM's to make up for
the difference in convenience.
Plus it is a lot easier to tweak files with a full keyboard and 17"
monitor.

Some people seem to have been satisfied with Intellilink/Schedule+95 combo.
It didn't, however, do enough
for me. As for the new connectivity pack. Despite reported availability I
have yet to see any product whatsoever
out of HP or of its actual capabilities. Considering that they billed the
120 as coming with Clip n' Go (yes I know they said it needed an
"accessory", most people would assume something like a cable.), I'll
believe it when I see it.
