OmniGo Communications

I bought an OmniGo in September, and I have not yet really tried to communicate with
anything. I like the O-Go, but last night I found myself playing with the Zaurus
5800 at an office store, and the built-in communication options are so tempting. I
plugged my 14.4 PCMCIA card from my laptop into the O-Go, thinking it would work.
The OmniGo didn't recognize the modem, but the modem drained the battery, that's for
sure.

As an early user without even a serial cable or RAM card yet, I'm still looking
forward to trying out some of the software mentioned on this list and generally
tinkering with the OmniGo (in between actually using it to keep from going crazy!).
Since communications wasn't my primary purchasing motivation, I can't be too upset
over the OmniGo's lack of easy options. But it is discouraging to me to see that HP
themselves have no interest in continuing the development of the OmniGo, especially
when they are simultaneously trying to sell a load of the new 120s!
