SRAM is faster and uses less main battery power than ATA Flash. However,
Flash is a lot cheaper and it can keep it's contents indefinately and
without a backup battery. I have a 5MB FlashRAM card from SunDisk and it
works great! The OmniGo FAQ contains some information on SRAM and FlashRAM
(including what you should look out for) check out

The PC reader would make backup and installation extremely easy... sounds
like a good deal to me.
