Closing apps...

Well, I just took back my Zaurus and bought an OG120. The screen is a bit
small and the apps are lower quality, but I like it better. The
dumb-userness and things like the inability to check memory easily make it
very un-HP like.

Nonetheless, I bought a 1MB SRAM card and installed several apps, including
Marcus Groeber's DOS text driver. I also got an "expert-mode" program by
Nathan Fielder that allowed me to change a bunch of interface options.
However, I keep running out of system memory and have to reboot. I click
"close" but it just goes back to the home screen. Huhh?

What are the limitations of the internal DOS? Can you run "complex"
programs like QBasic and Nettamer on it?

How much can you "hack" GEOS on it? I tried specifying GEOS 2.01's
MOTIF.GEO instead of the oh-so-ugly JMOTIF.GEO but to no avail. I had it in
the B:\GEOWORKS\SYSTEM directory, too.

Optimally, I would have Motif and other desktop stuff running on the OG. Is
it hopeless? Can I get Ensemble in my pocket? And where are the ":" and
"\" keys in DOS on the OG's keyboard?

Thanks,
